Clawed by the Cougs

With their game faces on and the drive to win in their hearts, boys varsity soccer took on the Clark Cougars April 8 at BAC.

Intensity filled the stadium with each of the schools fans, parents and cheerleaders cheering for their team to advance into Regional-Quarterfinals. Ending the game scoreless the boys were forced into OT. Elbows were thrown as well as yellow and red cards. The end of the first OT drew to an end causing them to go into double OT. With the score remaining at 0-0, they would advance into penalty kicks.

Parker Miller was up first for PK’s and missed the goal. Following Miller was Chandler Farnsworth, who then scored putting the boys at 1-2. The last kick was kicked by Jon McCleod, too much force caused an over kick and a missed goal. Clark then scored ending PK’s 1-3.

With an ending score of 1-0 Clark,  the boys Varsity soccer team will not advance into Regional-Quarterfinals.
