They saw, they believed

In order to raise awareness about underage drinking and driving, student council organized a demonstration during lunch that allowed students to experience how alcohol distorts vision.

The equipment used, called “Drunk Goggles”, were goggles covered with tape, and after putting them on students were asked to walk in a straight line. This is common exercise police officers ask individuals to perform when they have been pulled over with the belief they are under the influence. This is a video of walk the students experienced at the demonstration.
