Super Bowl Prediction

After a crazy back and forth offseason due to COVID-19, it feels so great to say we have made it to Super Bowl Sunday, we’re just five short days away from Super Bowl LV with the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in perhaps one of the best Super Bowl matchups in recent years. Will Bucs Tom Brady be able to win another Super Bowl and become the first player to win them in 3 different decades? Will Chiefs Patrick Mahomes be able to dethrone Tom Brady by beating him? If Tom Brady wins will Bill Belichick look like less of a great coach after Tom left him in New England? And the biggest question is who will take the win?

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming into the Super Bowl with a record of 14-2 and AFC west champions after beating the Browns and the Bills in the playoffs and winning the Super Bowl last season. They are led by their superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes with weapons all over the offensive side of the ball from tight end Travis Kelcey and the speedy receiver Tyreke Hill. And a solid defense led by Tyrann Mathieu there’s no wonder why they made it back to the super bowl.

But make no mistake Tampa Bay is a force to be reckoned with. The Buccaneers had a disappointing season last year, only going 7-9 with the rising concern in their former quarterback Jameis Winston they went full rebuild mode but getting rid of their starting quarterback Jameis Winston and going all-in during free agency and the risky move pulled off greatly with the signing of Tom Brady. From there it started the rise of the buccaneers with Tom helping recruit players for the already stacked team like the signings of Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown. After going 11-5 this year and riding a current seven-game winning streak the Buccaneers look ready to bring the Lombardi trophy back to Tampa.

The Kansas City Chiefs are this year’s favorite over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win the Lombardi Trophy. See more on the point spread, Moneyline and points total below:

  • Point spread: Chiefs -3 (-105), Buccaneers +3 (+105)
  • Moneyline: Chiefs -171, Bucs +145
  • Over/under total: 56 points

Personally, I have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning in overtime 34 to 30 with Tom Brady winning his 7th Super Bowl and starting a whole new dynasty in Tampa Bay.
