On Saturday, Jan 22. the aquatics team competed in the district’s swimming championship meet. Madison, Reagan, Johnson, Roosevelt, Mac, Churchill, and Lee all participated, with Reagan and Churchill staying in the lead for most events.
“The championship meet is always super fun and exciting,” varsity swimmer Sebastian Prieto said, “there’s so much adrenaline rushing through me at the championship meet because of all of the schools being there.”

The team competed in the 200 IM race, 500 IM race, and a 50 of each separate event, (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly).
