Hello, I’m Jalynn Eaton and I am head editor and a second year staff member here at Brahma News. I primarily write news, entertainment, and editorial pieces. I post for our twitter and instagram as well. I like Marvel movies, reading, anime and the Foo Fighters. I hope you enjoy our stories here on Brahma News! “ We’re all stories in the end. Make it a good one.” – The Doctor (Doctor Who)
I’m Genesis Argueta and I am a sophomore and a first year member on the Brahma News staff. I would consider myself a little fishy since I swam for 8 years, I started when I was 5 years old and quit at the age of 13. As a new staff member I enjoy writing about different events happening at our school and getting to know people. “Life is tough my darling, but so are you.” – Stephanie Bennett-Henry
Hey everyone, I’m Alexa Hausauer and I’m a junior here at Mac. My Favorite color is yellow and I experience endless laughs being apart of Brahma Tales. “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” – Dr. Seuss
Hello my name is Hope Herrera, this is my first year at MacArthur and my first year on this staff. On my spare time I like to watch netflix, hang out with my four siblings, and also draw if I’m inspired by anything I see. I hope this explains a little about me. “ One step at a time, things are gonna get better”
Hello, my name is Cas Moskwa, this is my second year as a staff member and my first year as a multimedia editor. I edit and make videos, write feature stories, editorials, and blogs. I enjoy writing political pieces so expect to see a lot of those this year. I also enjoy shooting photography on my spare time, making baked goods, watching netflix, and taking long naps. My aspiration in life is to be a combination of Morrissey and Robert Plant. This is my last year at MacArthur and I’m happy to spend it here writing stories for y’all. “That’s all I have to say about that.” -Forrest Gump
Hello everyone, I’m Janelle Garcia and I am a second year publication staff member. I write news articles, feature stories, opinion pieces, and reviews. I also create videos and photo galleries. Outside of working for Brahma News I’m also in JROTC and play viola in the JV Orchestra. Everyone calls me Penguin, Fun Size, or mom because of my size, social skills, and endless love for everyone. I hope you enjoy my stories! “Do not dwell on the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate on the mind on the present moment.” -Buddha
I’m Rebekah Brown and I am a senior and a staff member for Brahma News. I am a band geek: clarinet section leader for the marching band, 1st chair clarinet in the Wind Ensemble, and the clarinet in the Symphony Orchestra. I plan on going to Texas State to major in English and become a high school english teacher. I am addicted to caffeine but mainly Diet Coke and I enjoy quoting stupid Youtube videos and Vines till it gets really annoying. “Heeeelloooooee” – runthecube (Youtube)
I’m Nastasha Vallejo, I’m in MacArthur orchestra, and I would rather watch Netflix instead of football. I’m the second oldest in my family, and I am not very social but I am hoping that by joining this staff that will change. “Forget it stuff happens.”
Hi my name is Hannah Monita, I’m a sophomore at MacArthur and this is my first year on staff. I like reading on any day but my favorite day to read is on a cold day, so I could snuggle up with a blanket and drink some hot cocoa. I am actually very shy in person, but I tend to be very sarcastic. I have played softball for about 6 years and I still do. I have two siblings one sister and one brother; both of them graduated from Mac. I hope to be able to make good friends with you all. “The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.”- Albert Einstein.
My name is Cat Hittson, this is my third year as a staff member and my second year as opinion and blog editor for Brahma News. I enjoy long walks on the beach, curling up with a good book when it rains, and sarcasm. Honestly this is the third bio I’ve made but the only one we have actually put on the site. So, be honored you get to read this. If you’re down for a rambunctious time of fun in the sun and laughs, never contact me. All jokes aside I’m happy with the motivation I have this year and will try to create and manage the best content I can for Mac. “This is crazy, but I’m having feelings again.” -Dennis Reynolds (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia)
