New Faces: Kelly Taylor

This week’s new face is assistant principle Kelly Taylor who has been a part of our faculty for a grand total of 5 years, which is only a small portion of her 22 year run in the educational system. Although Taylor may not be new to our campus, she is by far important enough for everyone to have a chance to meet her.

“I love being a Maverick,” Taylor said.  “I wish students in the cafeteria would remember how hard our custodial team works to make our school clean for them. Thank a custodian and please remember to pick up your trash. Hug a teacher whenever you can; they are making miracles happen.”

Taylor has goals for the campus, too.

“My goal for students would be that they complete high school ready to greet the world and find their passion,” Taylor said. “Work, school, the military, Peace Corps, travel, whatever lies ahead – I want them to grab it and enjoy their journey. For teachers, my goal is to support our amazing faculty as they work to serve our students.”

Taylor, a major part of Madison administration, is proud to be here.

“I am happy each day to be part of student’s lives and help them learn. My job is to help students each day have the best day possible so they can prepare to learn and lead,” Taylor said.
