Spanish Spelling Bee
On October 19 Spanish students participated in a Spanish Spelling Bee. 8th grade student Salma Solis won out of 21 contestants! She will be our representative for the district Spelling Bee. 6th grade student Jonathan Esquivel made 2nd place, and 8th grade student Jadiel Davila made 3rd place .
Please congratulate these students in this great accomplishments and their hard work.
Special thanks to Mrs. Martha Page and Mrs. Elsa Gutierrez for being the judges, to Mr. Ahlen and Mrs. Villalobos for helping with the set up, and to Mrs. Flores for helping us monitor and providing the microphone. Last, but not least, let’s thank Mrs. Stolhandske for making the Spelling Bee happen .
