The Art club has been at Nimitz for 9 years. Its mission and purpose is to bring like minded artsy people together to collaborate and create fun, expressive and inspirational work.
Ms. Ramirez has been the club sponsor since she started it at Nimitz 9 years ago.
The Art Club participated in the Meet the Seahawks event; they hosted the Dia do los Muertos Parent Night last night, and will put on a parade today during 8th period.
Ms. Ramirez has a vision for Art Club as a place for students be themselves without embarrassment or fear. She hopes, “that they have a safe place to create and be artsy always.”
If you would like to join the 115 or 20 member of the club, no need to worry! All you have to do is show up every Tuesday at 3:50 and stay until 4:30, and there is no deadline for joining!
