San Antonio Holiday Events!!!!

The San Antonio city does many things for the holidays.

In December, The San Antonio Zoo opens it’s doors for the annual “Zoo Lights” event. The event will allow visitors to explore the festive exhibits, admire the light show, drink hot chocolate, roast s’mores, skate on the ice rink, and get free camel rides.

Sometimes, simple holiday traditions are the best ones. San Antonio’s most iconic neighborhood, the River Walk makes sure to turn up the “festive” levels each holiday season. The glittering light display will guide the visitors down the river from dawn until dusk daily. This features over 100,000 lights!

Partnering with Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, La Gran Tamalada offers San Antonio residents the opportunity to celebrate everyone’s “favorite” holiday food: tamales! The event is taking place at the colorful Historic Market Square, this event features make-your-own-tamales demonstrations and hands-on workshops, as well as children’s activities, live music, and more. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

Each year, SeaWorld stops for their Christmas Celebration. This “wintery and watery” holiday event goes on all month and features Christmas shows, lights, Santa Claus, festive food, and Rudolph sightings.

Fiesta Texas has the ‘Holiday in the Park’ it will feature a new Holiday Express train ride, a family of Christmas trees, a live nativity show, nightly musical shows, and personalized meet-and-greets with Santa Claus and his helpers.

From November 23th to December 23rd, Morgan’s Wonderland will burst into holiday spirit for, “A Wonderland Christmas!” Watch as this 25-acre theme park transforms into a Christmas extravaganza, complete with glowing lights, complimentary hot chocolate, a petting zoo, simulated ice rink, pictures with Santa, and more exciting activities.
