New Year, New You

People think that new year’s resolutions are worth making.  They think “New year, new me”, but is that really true? I’m telling you why resolutions aren’t that necessary.

You don’t need a new year  to make a new goal.  If you just make a goal because it is a new year are you going to keep that goal or promise?

You can make a reasonable goal and try to reach it, but be sure the  goal isn’t too hard for you or you’ll eventually give up. Right?  That’s what alot of people do.

Still, you could be one of the people who doesn’t give up and who keeps trying to meet your goal until you meet it.  My cousine had a new year’s resolution last year to not drink soda.  She did meet that goal and stuck to it the rest of the year.  However, when that clock hit 12:00 am on January 1st, she drank soda.

If the point of the new year’s resolution to make real life changes for the better, make a real ” New year, New me,” then you have to stick to the promise.

Surveys show that most people don’t stick to the promises that they make on New’s Day.   So, if you determined to change for the better, keep your promise to yourself.  Stick it out.
