a high school poem

High School is coming up.

You feel like you might blow up.

The night before school your mind runs loose.

Going to school, you refuse.

You can already smell the scent of loose paper.

Id rather stay outdoors and smell nature.

What if i’m not cool or smart enough.

Ill just stay home and eat marshmallow fluff.

Sports take way too much of my energy.

It feels like middle school was just yesterday.

Well i cant complain anymore because school starts in 12 hours.

My mind clears and forget about school until i got ready for my highschool tour.

I’ll have to get rid of my fears.

And go on with my years.

I’ll try to forget and have fun with my peers.

And forget about last night and my tears.
