Softball Starting Up Again

This season our Rough Rider softball girls are getting ready to take on this year’s competition.
This year they are looking forward to making the playoff spot for the first time in 10 years. The team has nine seniors that will be great in leadership and talent to help keep the team on top of their game.
“I think this season will be our year. We have worked very hard in our off season to prepare for this season. If we continue to play like we have been, I have no doubt that the Rider softball team will have a playoff appearance,” Alicia Pierucci, Head Softball Coach, said.
Through all the practice, and improving on what they need to this team is prepared to win their games, and keep having success.
“I think we should have a good season. We have a good team this [year]; we plan to go to the play offs. [Everyone should] come out and support us,” Toyre Gleitz, senior, said.
The team is determined to succeed in the regular season, so that they have the opportunity to show their strength in the playoffs.
“We are strong, and have a lot of potential, when we put it together, to go to the playoffs,” Briana Pedroza, senior, said.
Our Rough Riders are excited to watch the girls go through the season and take their victories.
