Councilman Keith Toney visited the library after school yesterday to take “shelfies” – pictures in front of the bookshelves – with everyone who was lined up to snap a shot with him. Councilman Toney has been in office since August 14, when he was announced the new councilman.
Councilman Toney said his number one vision is economic development, he wants more opportunities for citizens to get jobs and when students graduate and go to college they have the opportunity to come back to their hometown and get a good job. There will be new housing in District 2 which is from Broadway to here in North East side.
