Students ‘Let it Go’ at Teen Time Karaoke

Frozen has been recognized for its top two songs like “For the First Time in Forever” by Kristen Bell and “Let it Go” by Demi Lovato. Teen Time: Frozen Karaoke was held outside in the courtyard during all four lunches on Tuesday for students. Students throughout all four lunches had crowded the karaoke machine to sing along.

“I’m a Library volunteer, so I came here to help out,” freshman Crescens Ott said.
According to BBC News, Frozen had became iTunes biggest selling movie of all time, while the soundtrack has sold more than any other album in the US this year.“I saw Frozen the second day it came out and after that I got a little bit really obsessed with it, but it’s a great movie,” Ott said.
Students all grades just want to either want to just sing along with friends or join in and have fun like sophomore, Anna Vega.
“I was reading a book and hanging out with my friends when the librarian had brought out the karaoke machine. So that got me thinking why not join in and have fun,” Vega said.
Librarian, Rae Dowen said out of all four lunches, B lunch was the one which had the most students who were really into singing the Frozen songs.
“In B Lunch, it was fun we had a lot of students and everybody was singing. But with different lunches we have different personalities,” Downen said.
Frozen is not only be for children, but teens and adults love it too.
“It’s a cute movie; all Disney movies are cute. When I was a teenager or even younger I loved them,” Downen said.
This week was the last for the Pruitt Library to have an events like Teen Time for students at school. The next activity in the library will be Jan. 6, 2015 which will be Teen Time: Wii Gaming.
