After four years the team faces the Rockets tonight. They hope to build on their momentum this season and beat them.

“We’ve got a great opportunity to prove something to everybody this year,” senior Xavier Roberson said. “It’s our time to shine.”

In the first two games this season, the team rallied to wins, creating confidence in their work.

“The team wins by hard work, and the hard work paying off,” Said Coach Matt Carroll.

The test is tonight at 7:30 at Heroes Stadium.

“Its going to be a liberating experience,” senior Justin Mann said. “We’ve been pushing ourselves every day preparing for this game. We’ve felt a lot of pressure to redeem ourselves from last season and playing Judson is going to be our best chance to show what the Velt Boys can bring to the table.”
