More than 100 students were able to give blood at Student Council’s first blood drive on Friday Oct. 2.
Student Council members worked all day long to get people signed in, have them donate, and back to class efficiently.
“It helps save lives and help people that are in need,” senior student council member Victoria Veloz said.
Each student that donates blood has effects that reach multiple people.
“I thought it was cool that I could save three people’s lives with only one pint of my blood,” senior Devon Reveira said. “It’s amazing that I can do that for people in need.”
