AVID gets guest speaker

On Friday Nov. 6 Christina Guerra from Texas A&M University – San Antonio came to talk to AVID classes. She wanted to give them practical advice about the college applying experience.

“Tour every campus your’re interested in and explore all the cultures,” Guerra said.

She spoke to students first through fifth period passing on her wisdom

“There is something special in every college,” sophomore Brena McCoy said after hearing her speak.
