Campus reflects on Veterans Day

Rough Rider Battalion hosted a Veterans Day ceremony on the JROTC drill pad Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m. All 230 cadets participated in the ceremony honoring those who served in the military.
JROTC instructor Marchantia Johnson is a Master Sargeant in the U.S. army and has served 27 years.
“I am a retired veteran and this year Veterans Day was different due to the fact that this was the first year I was in uniform and worked,” Johnson said.
Veterans on staff, as well as family members from the community attended the event.
