“We’re doing really good this year, we won on Tuesday, so so far we are 8-1,” senior Sara Baker said.

From the eyes of a freshman, they seem to believe that practicing with older people helps a significant amount for practice and training their bodies to move faster.

“Working with older people helps me train more, helps me improve on my skills to continue being on varsity,” freshman Tearza Pongsavane said.

How to these freshman manage to get on varsity? Through years of practice and motivation.

“Being on varsity has a freshman comes from years of training, I started soccer when I was 9 and want to continue playing,” freshman Jessyca Figueroa Delgado said.
