Also called the Red, White and Blue Review, the event was on Aug. 24 at 6:30 p.m.

“I’ve been in this event since freshman year,” senior, Cindy Ramirez said. “Now as a senior I feel we were more pumped for this upcoming year.”

Many people attended from staff members to friends and family. On lookers cheered as each organization was introduced. There were performances from Band, Cheerleaders, Patriots, Dazzlers and Cavaliers.

“This will be my first time attending this event,” Ann Bertrand said. “I came here to show my support for Roosevelt, because I am a grandmother of two students here: one is in band and one is in flags.”

There have been quite a few changes from previous years, but the main one this year was the new football field.

“I have been attending this event for the past seven years,” STAN Counselor Werk Cook said. “What’s so different about this year than previous years is the new beautiful astroturf football field.”
