Students make plans for Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and that means good old fashioned football, turkey, stuffing and black Friday shopping. It’s a whole week from not doing work and waking up so early for many people. It is also a week to do anything individuals want to do.

“I like spending thanksgiving break with my family, hanging out with them and going out of town,” senior, Andres Gutierrez said. “Putting the Christmas tree and yelling at the TV when the Cowboys are losing.”

Yet it’s not just about the food, a week off work or school and decorations after words. It’s also about being grateful for everything good and even bad, because their is always a reason.

“I like to spend Thanksgiving with my family and friends all together to appreciate the people I have in my life,” junior,Matthew Clark said. “And catching up from the all nighters I’ve pulled this semester.”

Two weekends and a whole week off gives everyone the perfect time to refresh and stay cozy at home with the upcoming winter season.
