Sept. 13 saw the release of iOS 10, Apple’s latest software for its mobile devices including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

With the update came many new features such as a redesigned music app, rich notifications, more implementation of 3D touch (for supported devices), a new home app for control of home appliances and more.

An important new feature, at least for those who use iMessage, is the new implementations made to the popular messaging service.

From effects such as invisible ink, fireworks, balloons, confetti, slam and others, the new iMessage app has given users more ways to express themselves, at least for those who updated to the latest software.

Perhaps the most popular new feature to iMessage are the new iMessage apps that lets individuals share and create content, and play games, all without having to leave iMessage.

In the past week for instance, 8 ball pool, a game from GamePigeon, has erupted in social media, with teenagers posting pictures for others to play the game with them.

The app, GamePigeon not only features this classic game, but many others including tanks, checkers, poker, 20 questions, sea battle and others.

However, with not just games, but other applications available and more to come, it can also be said that there could be an app for everyone to take advantage of.
