In the beginning it started as a couple of pixels on a screen that blew the minds of kids in 1996. Small creatures on a small screen, raising them and becoming something of yourself in a world that was unlike our own, why this is Pokémon of course!

The newest installment of the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Sun and Moon came out recently and within those few days many had the amazing opportunity to buy and play through both within a couple days. Since 1996, the graphics have become much more advanced from the original pixels and black and white colors to 3D animations with the obvious color change.

New 3D animations have not only been implemented into the humans and Pokémon of their world but also the cutscenes that have also entered the Pokémon game franchise that makes the play through seem more realistic and somewhat like a movie that you are the star of, making the experience more exhilarating and eye-boggling to see the effects people put the time and effort into to become the Pokémon game we know and love.

From the moment you receive your first Pokémon the effects and size proportions are realistic, making your character seem like a real person, making the experience so much better and with the new found customization on your character it really puts you in the place of a new Pokémon trainer traveling to catch and train Pokémon feel so much better.

Pokémon has come a long way and continues to surprise us with their new found ideas and effects that make us happy and proud to call ourselves Pokémon fans.
