Starring in over 30 films such as “Love Me Tender”, and “Blue Hawaii”, Presley became a star in both sound and pictures.

During his short-lived career, Presley also explored other genres of music as soon as gospel, pop, blues and country seen in songs such as “It’s Now or Never”, “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” and “Suspicious Minds”, and spent two years in the army.

Presley died a king in 1977 at the age of 42 in his home in Memphis, Tennessee.
