Stranger Things 2 delivers with a few kinks

After making many captivated Netflix users wait a year, Stranger Things finally returned. When the news of Stranger Things 2 was released, the expectation for the show was very high.

Stranger Things 2 is now available on Netflix.

On Oct. 27 Stranger Things 2 was finally released. This season was very suspenseful, from the characters’ actions and motives to the unknown. Will has finally returned but finds himself caught between the Upside Down and reality, and now it’s up to the gang, including a new member, and some adults to prevent the demogorgons from wreaking havoc in Hawkins. The character development, romance, and the introductions of new people is phenomenal; these young actors and actresses are really commendable.

For example, Steve Harrington played by Joe Kerry, was one of the most hated-characters last season, but in season 2 you get to watch as Steve evolves from a selfish jerk to one of the best babysitters ever known. We also get to watch as Eleven sets out on a journey to discover the secret about her past and also to return back to Mike. Even though there are great things, there are also a few weak things.

The only complaints I have about the show is most events take way too long to happen the space between is just filled with a bunch of bland scenes and the parts when something dramatic happens really aren’t mind-blowing. Overall the season was very entertaining, but it did have a few flaws. I’m  hoping for a season 3 due to the big cliff hanger this season ended with.

I highly recommend everyone to watch this series.
