The TR track season was off to a powerful start with many wins at South San.

Even though it was a practice track meet, the track teams came to show everyone their talents. Both JV and varsity boys took first place in the 400 meter relay, JV girls also first in the 400 meter relay, and the varsity girls third.

The South San track meet provided many wins for the Rider track teams.

Overall, varsity girls had a total of 140 points while the JV girls had a total of 110 points. JV boys were first place team at the meet.

One runner that stood out the most in the track meet was freshman Nazzio Jack John.  He took first place in all three events he ran that day – 400 meter relay, 100, and 200, great places for a 14-year-old freshman running on the varsity team.

Following a rainout last week, the teams will compete at Boerne this Thursday.
