This is part of a series about individual seniors and how they chose their colleges. |

Senior Brena McCoy has been accepted into the University of Incarnate Word.

“I was beyond excited when I received my acceptance letter in the mail. I had started doubting that I was going to get accepted,” McCoy said. “I always wanted to go to UIW so this is a big accomplishment for me.”

McCoy is looking to major in Speech Pathology.

McCoy decided to go for this specific major because she loves working with special needs and people who can’t do as much for themselves.

“It’s just something Iv’e always had a passion for,” McCoy said.
