This is part of a series about individual seniors and how they chose their colleges. |

Senior Jacob Infante plans to attend The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Infante plans to attend UTSA to become a coach.

Infante decided on UTSA because it’s close to home and he really likes the campus. It’s also more affordable.

Infante plans to major in Kinesiology and education. He plans on becoming a coach.

Infante has been influenced a lot by his middle school coach and his high school coach, Barnes.

“I’ve been affected by so many coaches in my life and they have really shaped who I am as a person and showed me more then just sports but also how to be a man,” Infante said. “I’d like to have that same impact on kids in the future.”

“I’d like to start in high school and then work my way up,” Infante said.
