Fine Arts Students Join Forces to Display Talents

On May 17, multiple fine arts organizations came together to showcase the hard work they’ve accomplished throughout the school year in a production.
Multiple dance classes, cheerleaders, and theatre students participated in the Fine Arts showcase. Along with the production, the cheer team sold food and shirts at a concession stand outside the auditorium to fund their Florida trip for nationals.
The acts included group routines, pair dances, solos, spoken monologues and poems; all ranging in themes and genres. Through dance and words many emotions were delivered to the audience.
“I can’t really describe it. It was very emotional for me, it was for two people: my dog and grandma. It was hard for me to perform it, but I’m happy that I did,” solo dancer senior DeNijah Council said.
