Who Is Santa Clause? Santa clause is a mythical name his figure takes as a Christian bishop and gift giver Saint Nicholas. Saint Nicholas was born in the 4th century he was very giving he would give to kids and sailors even when he didn’t have something to give they supported this by having a feast day on December 6th.

How did the Holiday Christmas Begin? The Holiday began by Pope Jullian the I decided to make a day for the celebration of the birth of Jesus December 25. Since St. Nicholas was a important man, they made him Santa Clause, the man of that day.
