The Growing Lyme Epidemic

Recently 3 deaths have been linked to the deadly disease of Lyme. Reports say the patients suffered sudden cardiac death. Lyme is a disease caused by deer ticks, and is proven to effect 10 times as many people as previously thought.
Lyme disease affects any age.But, people who live near woody or grassy areas with a lot of deer may have a higher risk than people who liver nearer the city.Although, not all of the deer ticks carry this deadly disease.
So what can you do to prevent Lyme? For one thing you could use insect repellent, but there are safety precautions when using bug repellent, so just be sure to use it properly and in small amounts. Another trick you could do to prevent these pesky ticks is to use repellent that does NOT contain deet. Deet is a chemical that kills bugs, but can also cause skin reactions. So use a repellent that is all natural.
If you do have a tick on you here are some tips to make sure that it is removed properly. Grasp the mouth parts with tweezers and gently pull. Be careful not to crush the tick because it may contain infectious fluids. When you are done extracting the tick, make sure to wash your hands and disinfect the area.
