Man Finds Monster In His ‘Monster’ Drink

In the summer of 2010, Vitaliy Sulzhik, sued the Monster Energy Drink company after finding a scary encounter in his drink.  He had gone to Fred Meyers to get himself an energy drink. Once he finished it he didn’t think there would be another monster in it.

“I had finished the drink, I put it down and it was still heavy, so I backwashed it and felt all of this debris come into my mouth. I put down the can and got my flashlight and looked into it. I had seen the tip of the tail and just threw up everywhere.”

It was a dead mouse inside his drink. His lawyer sent the can to Monster Energy Drink inc., an engineering laboratory in Seattle, which cut open the can.

X-rays showed that the mouse didn’t suffer any trauma and was not killed by poison, nor that it was forced through the opening of the can. Monster Energy Drink still does not accept to believe this story.

“I can no longer trust anything that is inside of a close container. You never know.” says Vitaliy. He hasn’t had a canned drink ever since.
