Moving to Germany!
Traveling to new places can be scary and exciting. Especially when you get the chance to experience new things. My mom’s, first time traveling to a new country was in 1988. She traveled to Germany which is located all the way in Europe! She moved there because her father was in the army, so her family flew out and lived there for four years.
In Germany, my mother was in middle school and she was 12-years old like me. She explains that, “I remember making friends in a new country, and riding the bus in a new country.” She also told me about how interesting the food was and that “I remember a lot of meats like sausage.”
After leaving Germany, my mom went on to visit seven more countries! In conclusion, moving to Germany was a wonderful experience for my mom, and one day I hope to live in or visit somewhere as interesting and cool as Germany!
