5 Nights to Remember: A Review

| October 13, 2014 | 1 Comment

This weekend I played the game 5 Nights at Freddy’s. I heard a lot about it from friends and the internet, and was really curious about the game. I was really excited to try the game out and was surprised at how easy, yet scary the game was.

The point of the game is that your character takes a job at a restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, working as a security guard through the hours of 12 A.M. – 6 A.M., for five nights. The job is to watch over some animatronic characters that roam around at night through a series of cameras. If they see you they will try to kill you unless you keep the electricity- powered doors closed. Sounds pretty easy right? Wrong. The electricity runs out really fast so you must be careful not to let it run out.

When I began playing the game, my heart started beating really fast and I instantly started feeling overwhelmed and nervous because I had no idea what to do. I  remembered reading about how the game had a lot of jump scares so I was pretty scared about that too. When I finally figured how to use the controls, the game became really fun and I calmed down a little. Until, I RAN OUT OF POWER!!!

After a heart stopping jump scare, I continued to play the game and made it all the way to night four after losing a few more times. I totally recommend this game if you are into horror and survival games because if so, this is definitely the game for you! Before you play, I recommend that you do some research on the game, because the back story is just as scary and interesting as the game. I loved the adrenaline rush and excitement that comes when you play the game, and this was probably one of the most fun, (and scariest) games I’ve ever played. Definitely go play 5 Nights at Freddy’s!!!
