An interview with Ms Joy…

Do you have any older siblings ?
Yes, a twin sister and an older brother and sister.

When you’re not at school what do you like to do?
Play outside with my son, plus read and shop.

What is your favorite sport and why?
Volleyball ; I played it all through high school.

Did you ever want to do something other than teach science?
I’ve always wanted to teach but before that, I wanted to be a veterinarian.

Where did you attend college?  Texas Tech University

What do you like most about being a Science teacher?
I love the hands on activities we do in class.

What do you think you’ll be doing in 10 years?
Hopefully teaching at Driscoll.

What do you do in your summer months?
Swim, go to the river and work in the yard.

If I picked up your iPod what would I find?

What is your favorite movie and why?
My Fair Lady , it’s like a Cinderella story with great music.

“Own my own Sports Bar”

What do you like most about being a math teacher?
“helping kids understand”

What do you think you will be doing in ten years?
“Still be a math teacher or own a sports bar”

What do you like to do during the summer?
“Fish, Coach, Play video games”

“games, pictures of my little girl”

What is you favorite movie and why?
“Gone is 60 seconds” because of all the Mustangs”

“I like to spend time with my wife and attending sporting events.”

“Football,because I like that it is a team sport,and it involves a lot of strategy.

“Yes,I wanted to be a marine biologist,because i thought it would be cool to work with dolphins.”

“I attended The University of Texas in El Paso.”

• “What do you like most about being a Texas History teacher?”

 “I like to work with my students.”

 “I think that I will be teaching and coaching at a High School.”

 “I like to visit my family in El Paso.”

“If you picked up my iPod then you would probably find Macklemore, 50 cent, Eminem, Method Man.”

 “I like The Departed,because it is set in boston and it is just a good movie.”
