This year a new way to help save the environment, Garner’s student council committee is collecting printer cartridges. Why choose cartridges to recycle? Why not recycle paper, or plastic? “Because ink cartridges can be recycled for a much larger profit.”- Jade De La Rosa (8). So far, Garner’s students council has collected about 10 cartridges. They hope to collect 100 or more by the end of the year. The profits collected by the ink cartridges will be given to some of the other things student council will be doing throughout the year. Help out your school and donate some of your empty ink cartridges to Garner Student Council!
