Have you heard of Josh Hutcherson? Maybe you have but with a different name. Maybe you know him as ‘Peeta,’ or ‘The boy with the bread.’ Josh Hutcherson, the 20 year old actor was born on October 12, 1992; he was born and raised in Union, Kentucky. At the age of 9, he started acting through a local agency in Kentucky, and his parents let him go to California and try for one year, then his career took off from there.

When he went to California, he appeared on several shows, like ‘Becoming Glen,’ ‘House Blend,’ and several more. After appearing on shows, he started getting roles for movies. He appears in many kids’ movies, like ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’, ‘Journey to the Mysterious Island,’ ‘Bridge to Terabithia,’ ‘The Hunger Games’, and many more. Many people think he is a good actor, like Vanessa Pineda (8), She said, “I like Josh Hutcherson because he is cute and a good actor.” So far, he has had a very successful career, hopefully he keeps doing a great job, and hopefully we can see him in many other movies.

The New Market In Town

The New Market In Town

The new popular market in Garner Middle School is amazing. Many students have visited the new school store which is located in Garner Middle School’s cafeteria but is only open Tuesday & Thursday at 7:45-8:10. School supplies are mostly what are sold for example pencils, erasers, pens, and binders. This store was set up to help fundraise for student council and supply students with school supplies in case they didn’t have any or needed any supplies. The Garner School Store has really helped out a lot of students and it even helped me because I bought a pencil at the store for only twenty-five cents if it wasn’t for the store I would just have to sit in class not being able to write.
