Region Orchestra

Region orchestra: something that many orchestra kids work, practice, and try really hard for.   Region Orchestra is a competition in which 100’s of kids compete for a place as violin, viola, cello, and bass. Trying out for this event can be very nerve-racking as well. “I’m afraid I’m going to mess up” explains Antonia Garcia-Herrera (7), a varsity orchestra student.

In order to be a successful “orch dork”, you must be able to follow Mrs. Malone’s expectations. And that means you must be on time to class every day, have your instrument ready to go, practice your music every day, and always have the perseverance to do your best.  So good luck to everyone trying out for region!
