Garner Rocks the Socks

Garner Students have to wear uniforms, but that doesn’t stop them from wearing there favorite socks. You can mostly see socks if your’e wearing shorts but the students would do anything to show off their crazy socks. Christian Torres (7) says, “My favorite socks are Nike because they are very comfortable.”

Spirit Sticks…GOOD FOR YOUR SOUL!

A quite recent craze that has come about at Garner is the brand new spirit sticks which come in many varieties of color, pattern, and rarity.

The spirit sticks sell at the Garner school store for $1.00 a piece. Students can also receive rare ones in class for doing good deeds for free.

“I believe that 50 cents would be a more reasonable price for the spirit sticks,” says Manuel Moke 8^th grade.

The real and only controversy over the spirit sticks is price, but since you can also receive them for free from teachers, it may be a trend that continues to grow.
