Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade Lady Yearlings. They showed outstanding effort, and commendable improvement. The Lady Yearlings played hard and left it all on the court. The 8th grade volleyball team won district, undefeated 6-0. Coach Coleman said the girls have improved a lot since last year. When asked what team she thought did the best, she said ,”A team did best.” Coach Coleman was put in a difficult spot when asked about her star players. “All players contributed something, but Jade DeLaRosa and Stephanie Daggett were the ones who really helped offensively and defensively.” |
The 7th grade girls have also been doing a great job, coming in 2nd place in district. The ladies had an outstanding record of 6-1. Coach Nordman says, “the girls have come very far.” Some girls had experience and some didn’t, but a lot of the girls picked up their game to catch up with the experienced ones. Coach Coleman and Coach Nordman are very proud of the Lady Yearlings, and they really represented Garner well this year. Go ladies!
