Spooktacular Volleyball

Let’s get ready for the last game of the season, Yearlings. The last game of the season is on Halloween night. Not every volleyball will play on Halloween night , but we’re all ready for the last game of volleyball. These are some of the girls that will play on that night: Rebecca San Miguel as a passer , Michele Lugo as a spiker , Jade Brookbank as a server and Sophia Ramos as a setter. These girls are lucky to be on the floor on the last game. The other best part is that the game is at Garner. The Garner Lady Yearlings are ready for whatever comes their way. Our Lady Yearlings are ready to defeat their enemy. Lets have an amazing game GO GARNER LADY YEARLING !

Go Garner Volleyball

Our Garner Volleyball team is doing well beating Nimitz with both A team and B team in each grade. They practice after school and their wins and losses motivate us here at garner to support them.

Daniela Montengrow (8) (Go Team) says,” I joined Garner Volleyball to be part of a team like a second family, and that’s what I got.”  She Also stated that “I think this will be good were going to try our hardest”

Jade Brookbank (7) (B Team) states “I joined Garner Volleyball for the fun and excitement.” She also said, “We practice every morning at exactly 6:15, and if we don’t try hard it could show that Garner is a weak school but Garner is a strong school.

So in conclusion, Garner will try its hardest to beat all who challenge Garner athletes

Volleyball Season Ending

The Lady Yearlings fought an amazing season! But too bad that’s ending. Even though volleyball season is ending that doesn’t mean that most of the girls aren’t going to stop playing volleyball, most girls are trying out for club.
Ambriance Scott (7th) exclaims, “I will miss volleyball because it was fun, competitive, and you got to work with a team, who now are like family to me!” Caroline Snell (7th) also agrees with Ambriance, “I will really miss volleyball because I never was in club, so this was a new experience for me and I really love it.”
All the players can’t wait for next year so they can play what they love to do. And if you’re one of those girls, who are in 6th grade, who want to play volleyball you should go on ahead and do it!
