Get ready for spring fashion: personal style and where to shop

This week, the Pride interviewed sophomores and fashion gurus Kathleen Rangel and Madi Nally to talk about their personal style, and also for fashion tips for this upcoming spring. Both girls are known to dress up to school, always standing out because they dress themselves so well. Both girls know how to look good, and not with a big price tag.

Q: What would you say is your personal style?

KR: I don’t know, I love dressing differently than everybody else. I definitely do not like to blend in. My style is very girly; definitely very girly.

MN: This my sound kind of stupid, but its kind of bohemian. I like wearing baggy clothes and wedges- but only on my good days. I also like bright colors, I like to stick out.

Q: What do you usually wear to school?

KR: I love wearing red. I like wearing dresses because I think they are way more comfortable than wearing jeans; which is the opposite of what people think. All of my dresses are comfortable.

Q: What’s going to be the style for this spring?

MN: Dangly earrings and gladiators: strappy gladiators and floral patterns.

KR: Lots of flowers, soft colors, and lots of pink. In the spring I only wear gladiators and heels pretty much. I love wearing flowers in my hair in the spring too.

Q: What’s been your current favorite accessory?

KR: I am obsessed with sunglasses lately, but only like the huge glasses or the cat eyes-they are my favorite. I only like the vintage looking sunglasses.

Q: Where are the best places to shop?

KR: Forever 21- that’s where like almost half of my closet is from. I love Target too and Agaci.

MN: Forever 21-they are not expensive, they have really reasonable prices. Also, designer names don’t matter, its whatever fits your style perfectly.
