You all know what I’m talking about. Those movies that you secretly want to see that aren’t exactly Academy Award winning. If you’re an avid reader of The Pride online, you have probably seen the amazing work of Tony Johnson, our Arts and Entertainment Editor, as he reviews those classy movies with esteemed actors and actresses. Well I’m going to take a crack at reviewing those movies that after watching make you say, “Why was this movie even made?” or “That was surprisingly good!” So journey with me as I compile my sassy and blunt remarks from those lackluster movies that you might of said looked stupid but really are dying to see.
This weekend I will be reviewing Beastly; that movie about how “Love is never ugly.” Oh man, I cannot wait. I’m itching to see how Disney’s freshest dropout Vanessa Hudgens tries to fit into the serious side of cinema as well as how Mary-Kate Olsen attempts to get back into the limelight.
