Junior Eric Nagy will for the first time advance to regionals on April 19-20 at McFarlin Tennis Center.

“I’m very excited for regionals,” Nagy said. “It’s what I was preparing for all year.”

He practices everyday for one hour in the morning followed by another hour in the afternoon. Qualifying for the competition has been his dream.

“Since freshman year, my goal has been to work towards eventually getting to regionals,” Nagy said. “Now that I have, I see it as a great accomplishment.”

Nagy’s family and coach have been supporting him the entire way.

“A huge thanks to my coach for preparing me and in helping me make my goal,” he said.
