In the first semester choir had the following achievements:
23 students selected to TMEA Mixed Region Choir which is 16% of the region choir 13 students qualified to advance to the next level of auditions that lead to the Texas All-State Choir.
14 students selected to the TMEA Treble Region Choir which is 12% of the region choir.
“I’m very proud of the Johnson students. They represented their school really well,” Johnson choir director, Christie Brown says.
Those ranking in the top 10 chairs of their sections will go on to the Pre-Area audition which is the next step toward the all-state choir. Those students are:
