by Ali Valdez | Staff Writer

This year, the seniors will enjoy a break from TAKS at Alamo Drafthouse.

Every Texas student dreads those awful four letters “TAKS,” unless they have the great honor of being a senior. TAKS week is a week for seniors to finally be set free from the awful grip of standardized testing.

This year, senior week will consist of ice skating, movie watching, and of course, the typical senior field day.

Monday: Seniors must report to the auditorium no later than 8:45 a.m. Activities are to be announced.

Tuesday: The seniors must report to the buses (located in the student parking lot) no later than 8:45 a.m. If they have not turned in senior dues and are not going on the field trip are to report to the auditorium.

Wednesday: This is the day seniors are able to showcase their talents in the Senior Talent Show. Jostens will also be on campus this day to deliver graduation announcements and other graduation items. Students are to arrive in the auditorium no later than 8:45.

Thursday: Seniors late arrival day. Seniors must arrive to the auditorium no later than 11:45 a.m.
