The Johnson golf team has had a successful season continuing where they left off at a premier state level in competition. The Jags boys and girls have brought home medals from top 3 finishes frequently.
“We were fifth in the state last year and I think we can do even better this year,” senior Jon Lucas said.
The Jags are impressing once again with a top five state ranking this season. Next up is a string of spring competitions in which the team eyes an improvement.
“The team is taking a step in the right direction with all work and all practice,” Lucas said.
The team has been stressing diligence and dedication to better suit themselves and their teammates. They have been doing just that with their team progression so far this season.
“The highlight of the season is winning our home tournament against our rivals, Reagan and Churchill,” sophomore Marshall Martin said.
