The theater department prepares for their next play and their upcoming competition and theatre teacher Jay Asterman is entirely confident that his theater ensemble is just about prepared for what lies ahead.

Unexpected Tenderness is the next school play that Johnson will be performing.

In the weeks following the “Legally Blond” musical the theatre department has been working towards the future and mainly competition.

“Rehearsals have been going going on after school for about three weeks and in another two weeks we will be well prepared for competition,” Asterman said

The theatre production’s strong work ethic and even stronger strive for success shows in their work, and don’t hold on to success like a crutch but, instead, move forward and focus on their strongest assets.

“Our strongest asset is definitely our ensemble, and working together is the best thing for everyone,” Asterman said.

As theatre also prepares for competition thoroughly they also set out on their next school play

“Our next school play will be Unexpected Tenderness which we are very excited about,” Asterman said.
