Got no plans for the weekend? Let’s fix that.

1. Spend time with your family.

Yes, I know we are teenagers and we sometimes think it’s uncool to hang with parents, but I promise it’s not. You can go to lunch with them, go to a movie, or go shopping. You’ll get to catch up with your family. Trust me, your parents will feel the love if you give them some time too.

2. Walk your dog (or cat)

Dog (or cats) are a man’s best friend. They love when their owner wants to play with them and give them some TLC, so take your dog (or cat) out for a little stroll. You and your dog can get your 30 minute workout in at the same time effectively killing two birds with one stone.

3. Babysit

Teens without jobs are always looking a way to make a quick buck. Babysitting is the perfect way to do so. Believe it or not, parents need a fun time too. So let them know you’re available. Not only do you get to play with some cute kids for a couple hours, but you can easily make 20 bucks.

4. Bake

We all have a sweet tooth, and we always need to curb that craving. So go for it and bake. Don’t just bake your standard chocolate chip cookies. Go on the internet and find something unique and complicated, so that it takes up your entire day. There are things like lemon thyme cake or chili brownies. Be adventurous. You have nothing else to do after all. So go for it.

5. Rearrange your room.

It’s spring time. It’s time for a little spring cleaning. Go through your room. Switch things around. Take down posters and put up new ones. Go through your closet and get rid of some clothes, then donate them. Make sure to put your winter clothes up and start bring down those summer outfits. If you are really looking for a change, maybe paint your walls a different color. It’s always good to change things around, so you don’t get bored.

So give these a try if you are really bored one day. It can’t hurt. You have nothing better to do, and they are 5 ideas that cost literally nothing and our fun.
