Various Valentines movies for the holiday of love

With love in the air what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day evening than with your significant other watching a hopelessly corny romance movie. The range varies from cartoons to the Titanic, the only trouble is which movie should you pick?

1) The Fault in our Stars

One of the more recent heartbreaking teen romance movies is the story of the romance found by Hazel Grace Lancaster with Gus Waters in The Fault in our Stars. This movie has all your typical cliche romance movie conversations about loving one another forever and how love can get through anything, except there is one heart jerking twist that challenges the lovers, they have cancer. This movie is perfect for couples who need a good sappy movie to complete their Valentines Day.

2) Titanic

The Titanic is another one of the more heartbreaking love stories to watch.The flair and devotion of Leonardo DiCaprio in his role make the actions feel real and the cinematic pieces put the viewer in the lovers’ Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater experiences and tragedies, showing that love can prevail over anything.

3) The Kissing Booth

The Kissing Booth is the movie for you if you want a good laugh on Valentine’s Day. Starring the witty Elle Evans as the main character who finds romance movie drama when coming face to face wither her crush when signing up for kissing booth. With all the twists and turns that lead to the bittersweet we all need, The Kissing Booth is a great movie to enjoy this Valentine’s Day.

4) Mamma Mia!

Set on a simple island, Mamma Mia is the musical of all romance movies. This movie has singing, dancing, a wedding, drama, you name it. Three possible dad options and one big wedding, what will happen. Over all this movie put the engaged couple Sophie and Sky to the test so see if in the end all the drama put into finding Sophie’s dad is worth their relationship.

5) Love Basketball

Love and Basketball is the perfect movie for a couple who likes sports. This movie is a love story between two childhood friends, Monica Wright and Quincy McCall, who want to become professional basketball players. However, can their love overcome the career paths they’ve chosen threaten to pull them apart?

6) When Harry Met Sally

When Harry met Sally is a love story unlike any other. It starts with a car ride and ends in a competition of love. This 1989 comedy romance is old fashioned and is guaranteed to end in laughs and a happy ending perfect for the Valentine’s spirit.

7) Love, Simon

Love Simon is a modern love story that starts off just like any other, with a group of high school friends going through life. Until the lead character, Simon, finds a crush online. This movie has all the awkwardness for teenagers to relate to, the truth that we can love anyone, and an ending unlike any other. Overall, Love, Simon is the perfect movie to watch with your significant other this Valentines day.

8) A Charlie Brown Valentine

If you are looking for a simpler, heartfelt, Valentine’s movie that will make you laugh, A Charlie Brown Valentine is the way to go. The Peanuts have all the charm and humor anyone could need to make a Valentine’s evening one of nostalgia and laughs.
